Veronica Bannon

Veronica Bannon, LCPC, NBCC, ADTR

Veronica Bannon is a licensed clinical professional counselor and registered Dance/Movement Therapist. Ms. Bannon received her Masters degree in Dance/Movement Therapy from Goucher College and continued her graduate studies at Johns Hopkins University to become a licensed and board certified counselor.

Ms. Bannon has specialized in children and adolescent group therapy while also providing individual psychotherapy to all age groups. She has extensive experience working with individuals with ADHD, anxiety, PDD, depression, and eating disorders. She also uses several behavioral modifications techniques in her work with children.

Ms. Bannon has presented several workshops on her work with children and adolescents and has been actively involved in the MD/DC/VA chapter of the American Dance Therapy Association (Chairperson May, 2000 - June, 2001).
