Dr. Natasha Agent completed her graduate education at Loyola College in Maryland, where she received her Master's and Doctorate of Psychology (Psy. D.) Degrees in Clinical Psychology. She completed an APA accredited internship at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) in Newark. Dr. Agent is licensed to practice psychology in the District of Columbia and Maryland.
Dr. Agent has varied experiences working with children, adolescents, adults, parents, and families in multiple settings. She has conducted individual and family therapy with children, adolescents, and families in outpatient centers, inpatient programs, and residential facilities. She has worked with parents and youth in psychoeducational and clinically based group therapies. Dr. Agent also has provided parent and teacher workshops/trainings. Additionally, she has performed psychological and neuropsychological assessments for individuals and public school systems.
At the Expressive Therapy Center, Dr. Agent works with youth, parents, and families in individual, family, and group therapy to address difficulties such as: poor/declining school performance, low self esteem, disruptive behaviors, depression, adjustment after divorce, anxiety, poor interpersonal/peer relationships, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), poor social skills, oppositional defiant disorder, and adjustment disorders.
