Nanci Brown, LCSW-C
Nanci Brown is a licensed clinical social worker licensed to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia. She completed her undergraduate and graduate work at New York University. Ms. Brown has years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and couples.
Her past employment includes working with emotionally disturbed children and adolescents
as a school therapist and social worker. Nanci is a Certified Imago Relationship therapist (a special therapeutic approach developed by award winning author and therapist Harville Hendrix) and has extensively counseled and moderated couples and families.
Ms. Brown's work at Expressive Therapy Center includes leading groups ranging in ages from four to adults. She has experience working with ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder, anxiety, eating disorders, and particularly enjoys working with the more resistant adolescents.
